East Branch of Lodi Spring Creek Restoration Project

ALCTU is currently working with the DNR to restore a section of the East Branch of Lodi Spring Creek. Work is well underway on the East Branch of Lodi Spring Creek! The DNR crews have been working on the project, and it could be complete by the end of April, weather permitting. We have worked hard to raise funds to make this project a reality, and we thank all of you for your continued support. We've applied for grant monies through the Columbia County Land and Water Conservation Department and have received donations from The Badger Fly Fishers in Madison. We've also received donations from the Friends of Wisconsin Trout, and Vierbicher Associates, Inc.

Another fund raising source that we have recently joined is the Spring Creek Partners. This unique program is, in a nut shell, a hat sale. The hats are $250, with 100% of the money raised going to directly to trout habitat restoration. Anyone who purchases a hat also gets entered intoa  drawing for a great prizes at the Nohr Chapter's Spring Creek Festival. If you would like to buy a hat, or want more information, contact Mike Barniskis.
